Kekkai Genkai/Bloodline Ability: 

The Kibagami standout for one particular ability that sets them apart from other shinobi. This ability is called Kemuri or more commonly referred to as Smoke release. Those that find themselves blessed with this innate ability are capable of creating and releasing smoke from within their body. The smoke itself is capable of being spewed from the mouth, nostrils, even the pores of ones skin. The smoke is then able to be manipulated by the practitioner for a wide array of offensive, defensive, debilitating, and supplementary techniques and jutsu.

That said, they are incapable of manipulating smoke that has come from another practitioner. Only smoke from sources that don't have a major chakra flow can be affected. Basically if a house caught fire then the smoke from that can be manipulated. This includes smoke that may be produced from even electrical, so long as its natural. However, smoke that comes from say another member of the bloodline can not be manipulated.

An additional ability the bloodline possess, is their immunity to smoke inhalation. All those if this bloodline possess a filter like wall in the lining of their airways. This cleans the air going to their lungs and ultimately allows them breathe normally in thick smoke. This is only in regards to smoke, not poisonous gases or other deadly gases. This innate ability specifically filters out what is considered to be leading causes of smoke inhalation only. The soot or particle matter that is collected is stored in the lining and allows the bloodline to perform Ash Jutsu (like Asuma).

Those that are born into this bloodline have Katon and Fuuton elements as a requirement. The two core elements combine to create the advanced element, Enton, which is the more notable name of the element. Those of the bloodline still refer to it as Kemuri, however.

"Only smoke from sources that don't have a major chakra flow can be effected." - it should be affected rather than effected.

The smoke in which may be manipulated lies strictly within non-chakra sources; such as your burning-home example? Or does smoke generated as a by-product of a katon technique by a non-clan member may also be manipulated? What about smoke that is not created from sources of fire (or yourself) - such as fried electronics?

From my understanding, this is an advanced elemental kekkei genkai - thus it would be wise to state which elements form the basis of smoke. From my brief time spent using google, it seems that this release is called Enton; in case you did not know and wish to use the Romaji name.

The additional ability in of itself is fine - however, it should be noted that this is strictly to prevent the user from suffocating as a result of smoke. This ability may be mistaken by others that they do not suffer any ill-effects from less traditional forms of smoke; such as clouds of toxic. They would be able to breathe unobstructed, but the poison itself would affect the user - it may even close airways as one of the effects of the toxin.
